In the sculptural lighting collection Pleated for Frank, Folkform interprets Josef Frank’s classic pattern world with the help of handcrafted pleating techniques. The collection has been designed exclusively for Svenskt Tenn 2023 and consists of two table lamps and a series of lampshades that can be used with selected light fixtures by Josef Frank.
The ‘Svenskt Tenn Est. 1924’ textile print was originally named ‘Stockholm’ when it was designed by Josef Frank in 1949-1950. The graphic print shows a map of Stockholm, with places such as Folkungagatan, Karlavägen, Drottninggatan and Mynttorget. For Svenskt Tenn’s cententary, the print has been slightly updated to include the words Svenskt Tenn Est. 1924 to celebrate the company’s 100 years at the forefront of Swedish and international design.
