This children's bowl was designed by Ingegerd Råman in cooperation with Svenskt Tenn. The pattern is an interpretation of Estrid Ericson’s Elefant print, and if you look closely it appears that one of the elephants has gone astray.
Ingegerd Råman studied ceramics and glass at Capellagården on Öland, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design (Konstfack) in Stockholm and at the Instituto Statale d'Arte per la Ceramica in Faenza, Italy, among others. She has been awarded the Excellent Swedish Design award (Utmärkt Svenskt Form) on a number of occasions and her work is on display at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, to name a few.
