Experience Craftsmanship

Svenskt Tenn collaborates with around 27 workshops in Sweden. Every day, carpenters, glassblowers, sewing professionals, metalsmiths, ceramicists, and basket weavers go to work to craft the designs that make up our product range.

It's genuine, small-scale craftsmanship, often passed down through generations. Now, we invite you to experience it first-hand at our store on Strandvägen 5 in Stockholm. In conjunction with Svenskt Tenn’s first centenary, we are inviting selected local producers to share more about the craftsmanship behind some of our most iconic products.

Svenskt Tenn Academy

First up is cabinetmaker Anders Mattsson from Valdemarsvik. In his workshop, some of Josef Frank’s most iconic cabinets are crafted, including 522, 2192, and most recently, the Stockholm Cabinet in a limited edition for the centennial celebration. On Saturday 2 March, Anders Mattsson will be at the store on Strandvägen 5 to tell you more and answer questions about the craft.
